35 hour (full time) 19 month contract to start as soon as possible.
This position requires a degree from a recognized Physiotherapy program and current licensing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Services are delivered both in the Centre and in the community. A vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance are required. Experience in paediatric rehabilitation is an asset. The Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated social worker to join our team. This position is a full time (35 hours) contract for 2.5 years. This long term contract will include a generous vacation package, pension and eligibility for benefits.
The successful candidate must:
- Be Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
- Possess Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s licence and insurance

- experience supporting families with children with complex special needs
- knowledge of Canada’s two official languages
- experience assessing school aged clients
- experience developing and implementing groups
