This year’s Chatham-Kent Cycling Festival gathered families, recreational and experienced riders for a day of road safety, local vendors and cycling!
The event brought together over 200 cyclists and volunteers to celebrate fun, fitness and inclusion! Festival organizers were thrilled with the number of participants and range of cities participants travelled from- cyclists came from everywhere between Windsor to Toronto. The Centre, Foundation and committee are excited to be able to bring together so many individuals, with the same passion for fitness, cycling and inclusion, to the Chatham-Kent community.
The funds raised at this year’s Cycling Festival will support the Children’s Treatment Centre’s Adapted Bicycle Program, which provides specialized bikes to children with special needs, so that all children, of all abilities, can enjoy the excitement of riding their own bicycle.
