On March 21, 2022 the Province is lifting masking requirements in most settings in Ontario, with the exception of public transit, long-term care and retirement homes, health-care settings, and other congregate care settings. Masks remain an important layer of protection against the transmission of COVID-19. Given the transmissibility of the virus and in our interest in keeping staff and clients/families (especially those under 5 who are unvaccinated) healthy, the CTCCK will also continue our current PPE protocols.
As such, the Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent will continue current Centre COVID-19 screening and mask use based on guidance for health care settings.
